From November 3–5, 2025, Latinas in Beauty proudly attended Beauty Connect LA, one of the most anticipated gatherings in the beauty industry. In partnership with Kisaco Research, this event brought together founders, executives, and innovators who are redefining what’s next for beauty. Latinas in Beauty was proud to be part of an event that championed representation and inclusion across every level of the industry.
As part of our ongoing mission to increase equity and representation in the beauty industry, Latinas in Beauty partnered with Beauty Connect LA to provide complimentary passes for our members. This collaboration opened doors for Latina founders and professionals to connect with leaders shaping the global beauty landscape — reinforcing our belief that representation thrives through access and community.
In partnership with Quickbox, Latinas in Beauty had the opportunity to exhibit and introduce our organization to a wide network of beauty executives and corporate professionals. Together, we also hosted a VIP Speakers Dinner, an intimate gathering that brought together founders, investors, and industry decision-makers for an evening of connection and conversation about the future of beauty.
This collaboration reflected the true power of partnership — showing what’s possible when organizations come together with shared values of inclusion, growth, and innovation.
We were proud to have several incredible members representing Latinas in Beauty throughout the conference, including:
Brandi Andrews — Founder of Youth Dealer
Krystal Flores — Founder of Soy Latina Candle
Veronica (Terrazas) Konecke — Aloisia Beauty
Candice Macias — Corporate Professional
Each of these women embodies the entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and leadership that define our community.
Latinas in Beauty Founding Board Member Nadine Tapia moderated a powerful panel featuring Irene from Quickboxand Michelle Ranavat, exploring innovation, inclusivity, and leadership in the modern beauty landscape. Their discussion underscored the importance of collaboration across founders, corporations, and consumers in building a more equitable industry.
Our Advisory Board Member, Kimberly Villatoro, also joined the panel “Founder & CEO Trilogy: The Multi-Million Dollar Truth Interview,” offering insight into the realities of scaling brands and leading with authenticity.
This year’s Beauty Connect LA spotlighted several Latina leaders who continue to inspire our community with their vision and achievements:
Malena Higuera, CEO of NOYZ, received the Brand Storytelling Award.
Monica Gallegos, Brand Advisor of BioEffect, received the Technology Trailblazer Award.
Remi Martini, CEO of Sarelly, took home the Emerging Brand Award and won the Pitch Competition among five impressive finalists.
These recognitions serve as powerful reminders of the creativity, excellence, and leadership that Latinas bring to the global beauty stage.
Beyond the awards, panels, and partnerships, what stood out most was the sense of connection — the genuine support and pride shared among Latinas across every corner of the beauty industry. Whether founders, creatives, or corporate professionals, our members continue to uplift one another and redefine what leadership looks like.
At Latinas in Beauty, we believe representation is more than being seen — it’s about showing up, leading, and transforming the industry together.
We extend our deepest thanks to Beauty Connect LA and Kisaco Research for their partnership and continued support in amplifying Latina voices in beauty.
Together, we’re shaping an industry where representation, equity, and collaboration are not just goals — they’re the standard.
